I have experienced therapy from both sides – I have been a client and I am a therapist. I have experienced psychotherapy individually and in groups. I have been taught and I have been a teacher. In private practice since 1998, I draw on all of these experiences when I work with my clients. From 1999 to 2011, I co-led a number of weekly psychotherapy groups with Dr. Julie Righter. I also work with clients by phone or via Skype.
I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts from The University of Western Ontario. I am a Graduate (1999) and a Post-Graduate (2004) of the training programs of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto.
Now I am regularly involved in further training and am currently receiving supervision from a Clinical Psychologist.
I am an Assistant Faculty member at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto where I teach and train students and supervise therapists. I am also a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy and the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists.
